Unlucky Day :(
Today must be my unluckiest day ever. and i mean it.
this morning at abt 1am. i saw Man Utd losing 4-1 to Middlesbrough. *shocks* how in the world did that happen? now, they're really trailing behind Chelsea. cos i think there's not a chance that Blackburn can conquer Chelsea, no way... dammit! sob sob... but i know Man Utd's gonna thrash Chelsea next Sunday, yea? (hopeful ;p)
then went for practice at 1.30 pm at my violin teacher's house. completely screwed up. forgot so many things. notes were out, bowing was uncoordinated. and ended up getting scolded. my teacher says he will ask me to play alone next week. sigh. really regret not practising. >.<
then i went to play Street Soccer. thought it might cheer me up a bit. but no, it didn't. had quite bit of fun at the start when i scored 2 goals in a row. yayness. then one of my teammates had to go off. and that was when my nightmare started. abt 10 minutes later, my cousin found my phone missing. looked around the vicinity, but to no avail. and then one of my friends told me that he saw that teammate bending down to take something from that area where we placed all our stuff(behind the goalpost). all right, we don't have concrete evidence. but the way he sprinted off immediately makes him like the prime suspect. so my parents and i went to file a police report. and thankfully i had my imei number. thanks for the tip, CBW. so guys, please don't call my hp from today onwards.
my dear 3230!!! *sobs*. heartbroken i am... argh.
what an unlucky day it has been for me. better be careful right up to 12 am tomorrow morning....

*yawn* very bored now. completely nothing to do. have been slacking for the past 3 hours. what a sin.
had another session of violin recital just now. the sessions are really getting more and more productive! yay. i have really improved a lot in 大海. although the piece still has countless flaws :P want an improvement, eh?
and sigh. there's another practice session again tomorrow. from 1.30-4.30. 3 hours! no breaks. >.< wonder how i'm gonna survive it. there are currently 3 confirmed repertoire pieces. they are Kanon, Eine Kleine Nachtmusik (still quite much out of tune, damn) and 大海 (big sea in Chinese) hmm... by rights, i should be practising very fervently now. but i'm simply not in the mood for practice. so i shan't give a hoot. =) *guilt-striken*
later, i shall be watching Man Utd versus Boro. they jus gotta win this, before they drift any further apart from Chelsea. cos i don't expect Man Utd to secure a win against them next Sunday. sigh. Roman Abramovich's millions.
oh. and i nearly forgot, it's my sister's birthday today! just a a nice steamboat dinner! great. and her cake's not bad. NICE!!!
i received a piece of bad news from my dad. Ipod Nano has run out of stock nationwide. awww... and i heard it'll only restock in 2-3 months(according to what i heard from my dad, damn) :( but my sights are set... must get it!
i just received an sms from my NCC Staff. i have been selected to take part in a shooting competition. i was like, "huh? how in the world did that happen?" and who knows if i'll still be in NCC by then? for the second time tofay, i feel guilty. hmm. i think it's the 3rd leh. cos i didn't get my sis a present... >.< hahahahahaha!!! (sadistic laughter) :p
aiyah, i think i better do about half an hour of violin practice now lar. before the Man Utd game. if i dun practise, i reckon i gonna get kicked out of Violin 1. and i really don't wish for that to happen.

went for cincinnati pops concert yesterday. it was completely amazing! wow! loved it. the Titanic song was really moving. and Lord of the Rings was soooo.... expressive! yes, Ben Wee, it's the best concert i've ever been to also.(not that i've been to many xD) and also, the conductor, Erich Kunzel was extremely generous with the encore pieces. played 3 altogether. really enjoyed myself!
anyway, my theory grade 5 examination will be 2 days later. argh!!! have not started any revision at all cos' i'd been slacking the past few days. aiyah. really regret it now!

wo0t! Man Utd defeated Sunderland last night. yay! Rooney again, provided the tenacity and penetration needed. and Rossi managed to score on his Premiership debut, coming off the bench for Van'Nistelrooy in the 78th minute. Man Utd simply ROCKS!!!!!! lalala
Argh. really hate Chelsea now. Again, with their financial muscle, they are trying to prise John Obi Mikel from Man Utd. >.<*faint*). Will Chelsea even let him play? with the kind of 神 midfield they already have, i doubt Mikel has a place in their system at all... he should sign for Man Utd, where he has a high chance of becoming their new Keano!

Well, feeling damn sian now. can't seem to concentrate on my geog and history notes. lalala. those facts seem to be swimming around in my brain. Vasco Da Gama's biggest contribution was drawing the topographical map!!! Cristopher Columbus learnt that soil erosion takes place when soil is saturated!!! wow! :D
For some peculiar reason, i seem to be able to focus only after 10pm >.< argh.
Never mind, just have to endure 3 more days. then Thursday no class! Only the AEPs have to come back to take their exam. wo0t! Our sec 4 seniors are not as fortunate though. Immediately after the CTs, they have to start mugging for their 'O' Levels. Best of luck, guys! =)

wo0t! the rehearsals were unexpectedly productive. and the tchr said that my expressions were good. yay. i think i played pretty well, except for a few wrong notes. haha
anyway, i got my grade 5 exam scoresheet(violin) today. although i passed, im still damn disappointed in myself. my technique is still lacking badly. argh. really need cBw's help now. Some comments from the examiner...
First piece- "had a promising start and played with a goood amount of energy. however, tempo was rather irregular. " sad....
Third piece- "Rebarto was lovely and showed a sense of musicality" yay. "but very unfortunately, very few notes were hit correctly." argh. >.< and for this particulare piece, i got a disappointing 20/30. stop gloating at my misery, cBw. (if u are)
Sight Reading- "went wayward after a strong and promising start"
Oh well, lemme summarise the comments he made... Good sense of musicality, but technique sucks.(big time) need to have more control over the tempo. sigh. jus have to practise harder. haha
another thing i'm worrying abt. what present to get for a particular someone. she just refuses to tell me what she wants. hmpf. >.< any suggestions?
The criteria are:
1. No soft toys. I have a whole carton at home gathering dust.
2. No keychains, dangling stuffs, handphone accessories, etc.
3. No chains or stuff with my name on them. I won't use them anyway.
4. Nothing too expensive :) Pai seh lah. (YSX: note tt she didn't state how expensive is expensive? heh)
note: girls never mean what they say. (she claims this generalisation doesn't apply to her. hmm. i dunno)
Anyway, Man Utd will be playing Sunderland tonight. Man Utd probably would win, with an opponent like Sunderland. but Man Utd quite inconsistent. Hope Rooney can play as well as he did on Wednesday against Poland. :)

Later will be practising for the End-of-Year Concert at my violin teacher's house with my fellow Violin 1s. We'll be playing Eine Kleine Nachtmusik and Kanon. Argh... My technical parts still suck. Must practise more. cBw, i need ur help! haha!

im really upset today...
the morning started out fine. the only problem was that i was completely shattered, having slept only 3 hours last night. was mugging "Monkey's Paw", and chinese. managed to completely everything. however, i got a lecture from my mum this morning, abt me using too much of the computer and not having enough rest. oh well, i know she meant well, but sigh. nvm.
we had our English Paper in the first period. 1 hour, and it was barely enough for me. but at least i completed it lar. lalala. The unseen poem test was hard. (some very talented poet... (ahem.. u know who u are) must be gloating at my misery now. but still, i think i did pretty well.... hopefully xDthen we had the chinese paper. 2 hours, and that was sufficient. yay. but the effects of the 3-hour sleep were starting to manifest. and even the Clorets were not enough to keep me awake. and i lost concentration in the 2nd hour of the test. >.< argh. that was the first tthing that upsetted me today.after school, i had lunch wif Timothy, Yin Rong and Dixon at KFC. had quite a nice time. (they are really funny ppl, more humorous than some sithlord somewhere. hemhem. all 1Hians should noe who im talking abt:P) then i went home with Timo and Yin Rong. went all the way to Tampines wif Yin Rong to buaya. xD jus kidding. then, when i returned home from Tampines,i heard something that really upsetted me on the bus. here's a transcript of their convo.
Girl A: whoa. that new ITE(that Simei one) very high-class hor?(as we passed an ITE under construction that is due for completion soon)
Girl B: yar lor! (in a joking manner) u wanna go there ar?!
Girl A: choy! ITE is only for stupid people！！！the people there are all brainless people!(i din mean to eavesdrop, but they were really loud!)
Well, i dunno what they said next... i was overwhelmed with anger. ITE students are not stupid, they're also talented in their own right! that's a completely unjustified stereotype. all rite, they might no excel in their academics, but that does not deter them from becoming a word-class footballer or an entrepreneur! also, what's the point of getting straight A's for your academics if you haf a weak character and poor moral values? can u write all over your face," i got 11 A1s for 'O' Levels"? what people notice is the way you conduct yourself. and ur character is what people admire or despise u for... not your results!!! hope i will never hear such comments from anybody, ever again...
