back from camp and Happy New Year

hello ppl. i'm back from camp! =D the camp din start off on the right note as three ppl were sent home failing the attire check. but i'm glad they came back on the 2nd day, phew... apart from that, the camp was simply a great experience, and we really know each other a lot better now! =D but sadly, i lost my wallet while i was at the arcade with Kun Long yesterday... damn. =(

oh. and to everyone out dere, Happy New Year! woohoo! to 1H 2005, let's make 2006 a smashing year for us! =D i'm sure it will be a great year for us again! ;) to all Hullettians: although we din do well in 2005, we can work even harder in 2006 and do the House proud! =D wo0t! last but not least, to all Rafflesians joing the Rafflesian Community next year, i mean this year... welcome to the big Rafflesian Community! =D

haf not blogged in ages, too lazy to do so... xP

Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day were absolutely SMASHING! woohoo!!! received plenty of presents... including Fifa Manager 06, and..... CHOCOLATES!!! haha! stayed over at my cousin's house for 2 nights... not Huihan's (thankfully =P) but my maternal cousins'... had loads of fun, as usual... lalala!

well, still busy with homework now... surprised at my own's efficiency when im really determined to complete something... really fast work-rate! yay! well, being forced to complete, going for camp on the 29th to the 31st...haha

my cousin, Stanley is staying over... he's really adorable! =D he's 4 and really ROUND! xD

Harry Potter in Omni-Max

watched Goblet of Fire with Ben Wee and his sis at the Omni-Max Theatre today... wow! the effects were astounding! especially the parts at the Quidditch World Cup (KRUM) and the first task! the effects were really impressive...

so close yet so far

today was pretty much a borrrrriiiing day...

NCC training in the morning. talked to Mr Yip regarding my transfer... he was much more receptive than i thot he will be. pretty willing to listen to my opinions and the reasons why i wanna transfer... advised me to think about it in a bigger picture... cos all the units in Singapore are supposed to have a minimum of 20 ppl in each part. and noe we are hovering right above tt mark with 21 ppl. so wif my departure, it'll leave them with onli 20!!! thot abt it, discussed wif my mum, and still arrived at the same conclusion. i WANT RISE!!!!

went to Tampines to meet Yin Rong after training discussing with him book reviews for English. yay, one's done. two more to go! =) so far so good... well, cbw, at least im not going away! =) a big consolation is that i've finally completed my shu ping! wo0t!!!

din go for my dental appointment, cancelled it, not feeling well lar... so will be going this Saturday, most probably...

remember guys, support Lee Yin Wei, Yin Rong's bro. he has qualified for the Top 20 of Campus Superstar! wo0t! 30 cents per sms though...

Campus Superstar and screw NCC

Campus Superstar yesterday... the girls went before the boys... wasn't interested, my sole purpose in going was to listen to Wen Jun adn Yin Wei, so went for Chicken Little with Faizal. saw Shamuel Kwek in the theatre, yes SHamuel... the show was pretty entertaining lar... a pile of feathers trying to save the world...

bad news, NCC refuses to let me transfer. claiming it's a "sch policy".. worried tt i might set a precedent and ppl will start flocking out of NCC!!! WHAT?!?! it's like, if the CCA is really so "enriching", would they need to worry abt students going out? and u need a certain qualification to enter RISE, rite? and so how can ppl jus start flocking out of NCC... damn... and so, i'll continuye to voice my displeasure over this. sorry, NCC ppl hu are reading this. u guys have been great pals, but i jus dun haf a single bit of passion burning for NCC. and so wat's the point of keeping a soulles body in a CCA, hu's jus so unwilling to do things and commit? sigh... will talk to Mr Sze abt it.. let's wish he can convince the CCA Dept. with his gift of the gab.. meanwhile, keeping my fingers crossed...

oh, and congrats, Yin Wei on making it to Top 20. and Wen Jun dun feel too disappointd.. u sang well! =D so well done, u guys! =)

no more practices

i managed to get past the auditions for RISE! to cBw's "surprise", my intonation was good :P... yay, but i'll be playing the viola. well, not that hard to grasp... but rite now, the viola is with cBw, so no practice for about 1-2 weeks... and controversially, i found Mr Sze a rather pleasant man. =D

performed at Tiong Bahru CC last night... it was bad... seriously bad... we were not playing in harmony at all for eine kleine.>.< and someone made a wrong entry for Kanon, really embarrassing, cos it was damn loud... not me lar*defensive*. haha.

today's performance was at Sokka's(pardon me if the spelliung is incorrect) Centre in Tampines. Sokka is supposed to be some Japanese religion. also a form of Buddhism. and Jeff Wong, the gues speaker, is very devout, due to some mishaps in his childhodod years. heh. but i have to say that there was a great improvement in our standard today... i think u can contribute it the the 2-hour practice in the morning. yay!

watching this movie on Channel 5 rite now.. "Cast Away"... pretty interesting movie about this man who's stranded on this island. and has survived for 4 years, wow! and his onli companion is this volleyball, with a face painted with blood, and he's named Wilson! =D and rite now, he's building a raft to get back to Civilisation. wow!

Man Utd lost! no...

whoa. have not blogged for a couple of days. been really busy...

well, i guess i shall be going on a hiatus soon, to finish up my hw, and to tie up some loose ends(u dun haf to noe wat they are) just wish me good luck! haha =)

Man Utd lost to Benfica! i can't believe it! and they can't even get to play the Uefa Cup. OMG!!! well, there were really a couple of factors resulting in their loss. but i think the most important one was Cristiano Ronaldo. he was over-dribbling and losing too much of Man Utd's possession. and of course Man Utd under-performed despite a great start... and the worst thing was when he was substituted by Park, he actually pointed the middle finger at Benfica fans! major attitude problem. hai... Fergie better try to keep him under control... on a lighter note, who cares abt the Champions League or Uefa Cup, Man U's gonna clinch the FA Cup and Premiership! heh...

NCC training this morning, Amazing Race!.. again.. 2nd time in 2 weeks... can't they give us something new? and read in the papers abt some scholar losing his scholarship due to failures in examinations. well, i think he deserves it... the organisation must had enough trust and confidence in a person's capabilities as to give him/her a scholarship. shouldn't he then work even harder to sustain his consistent results?really disapointing...

dental appointment today. extracted 2 upper pre-molars! >.<>.<

ok. time for bed. having auditions for RISE tml at Mr Sze's hse... wish me good luck! =D

SX is back

have not blogged for a couple of days... was either too busy or lazy to do so...

reflecting back on the drama camp. it was a really great experience, although i din enjoy it initally... the last few days really made me change my mind. and i was really erm, sad... when it ended. endings are really bitter. but still, i will not forget all my friends.. i had a really great time with all of u guys... and yu4 jian4 RAWKS!!! wo0t! 1 thing's for sure, i will take part in it again next year. yay

anw, my cousin's wedding dinner was held at Swissotel the Stamford on Friday Night. they had three rooms, Morrison, Moor and HULLET. yes, single T! wth! maybe it's different from Hullett, but argh... the food was really great! wow! and they had this sms service, which u could use to congratulate the newly-weds.. i sent msgs on behalf of Rooney, Van der Sar and Van Nistelrooy! haha!

spent lots of money today... $163 on black shoes, $ 104 on a water-resistant bag, and $133 on Levi's Jeans. Thank you, mummy! =D
