improving on technique
couldn't play soccer during recess today. nearly forgot i've got duty at the SFCH. but c'mon, being deprived of Friday 40-min recess soccer?! no way...
and maybe i would be the one instead of Guo Dong who dislocated a finger ><
>.< get well soon, Guo Dong. no fun playing soccer without you, man. you're the best goalie! ;) i dun think we'll be playing in the coming weeks then... no fun playing without Guodong. simple remarks from him simply brightens up the entire game!
oh and the chem test was relatively easy. considering that we're provided the Periodic Table. and Mr Fong din tell us! wasted my time memorising some important stuff. which was pretty time-consuming... dammit...
and did the Zero Carbon Cities presentation after school. cbw had to go home due to a high fever of 40+ degrees. that sure is hot... and hence he didn't turn up for RISE
RISE today happened to be super slack. we spent the 1st 1 and a half hour or so playing soccer. some ppl were quite pissed off because Jerome came along to stop them from playing in half-u or sch-u. we were in RJ, btw. and many tried to argue that it's RJ premises... i'll clarify the rules...and so, they played in the hall o.0 wow! it was pretty much kampung soccer, with the ball being flying randomly all over the place. not a bad game actually. then we did sectionals. JonLim tried to help me with my spiccato and some basic stuff. my technique's bad. i'm really working very hard. and i know it'll all pay off! =D
oh, and forgot to mention i scored 11.5/15 for my maths TA. tt's bad. or at least, below my expectations. my graph was extremely poorly drawn. judging by the fact that i had less than 1 MINUTE to plot all the points and draw the graph and write in the answers and label everything neatly?! i found out my previous graph was wrong when there was 1.5 minutes left to go, and apparently, i screwed up.
then went for the Prefects' Tea Session with my parents after RISE. bascially talked about what we're going to face in RIPB. and they showed some videos of our campaign. quite hilarious and lame when we look back. and they shot the video of cbw and bryan putting up posters for me! ^^ thanks so much, both of you. after i lay hands on my Creative Zen, remind me i owe you both soya bean... haha
oh, and thanks, Auyong and Aaron, for talking to my parents, who insisted on talking to one of the seniors. -.- but Auyong and Aaron are diatomic.
